#MichaelFlynn and rats tattling on bigger rats #Confessionsofavampirehunter

Michael Flynn is a scumbag. We all know that, and he's trying to cut himself a deal. But the Senate said no...for now.

Strange times, my friends.

"Rolling down the way" #micropoetry

Some people lurch
from one place to the next.
The really awful ones
roll or
they don't move at all
because they can't.

"Don't Hide" #micropoetry

Running is only good when done for exercise.
Don't ever run from yourself.
No matter what anyone says to you.

#NationalPoetryDay "Vaudevillian Radiance" #micropoetry

Even ugly things have their glow.
In their own way they shine.
Bright florescent colors
are garish.
And belong in a traveling carnival.
But even they have a perverse,
vaudevillian radiance.

In search of the "hole in the paper" #amwriting #writerslife

In Misery, by Stephen King, he talks about the "hole in the paper," better known as the writing flow where the story or book writes itself. Rather, the character Paul Sheldon does. It is a happy place to be where you can see into the fictional world that's falling out of your head onto the paper. You can see through the paper into your mind. It is a high like endorphins flowing from exercise. I will confess it is the writing state I long for, and it is what keeps me coming back.

It isn't about getting published or making money. It really is about self-expression. Finding the hole in the paper is what I try and do each time. Sometimes I succeed, and sometimes I fail.
